Old Point Loma Light

“Old Point Loma Light” is the first light house to be erected in Southern California in 1855. Today, the Old Point Loma Light House still stands watch over San Diego, a sentinel to a vanished past and the inspiration for the center of my “California Gold” album quilt. The focus for this workshop is careful prep work for perfect appliqué results. The workshop is designed for all skill levels and will introduce you to new techniques. Learn my “Off the Block” prepared edge freezer paper appliqué techniques and build your appliqué directly on the pattern. We’ll also learn how to make any size “Perfect Bias Stems”, reverse appliqué, sharp points, perfect circles and smooth concave and convex shapes.
