Just a few updates. If you joined the Sarah Simms 1816 quilt FaceBook Group I posted the first embroidery lesson #2 on the Group page.
I had a fun trip to Texas to teach at the Applique Away on Galveston Bay Conference. A little cold and rainy but every one had a wonderful time. At the end of the workshops and final banquet evening I donated my workshops sample to be suctioned off a the proceeds would go to the Ronald McDonald House in Galveston. What fun a silent auction and the stitched and embroidered block not even backed or quilted sold to one wonderful quilt for more then I ever thought it would sell for. It was Awesome! The happy winner Was Sara.
Wonderful end to a great conference.
