Pearl Pereira designed her Baltimore Spring collection in the style of the Baltimore Album appliqué quilts of the 1850s. The charming panel features a center medallion appliqué block and twelve smaller blocks, all with a modern day gardening theme. There are flowers and flowerpots, gardening tools, a wheelbarrow, watering can, birdhouse, and a bird bath, all in today's bright pinks, purples, blues, and yellows. The appliquéd blocks are ready to sew following the cutting, piecing, and assembly instructions for blocks and borders that are printed on the panel. When framed with the floral vine border, complete with classic dogtooth triangles, the wall hanging finishes at 38" square.
